As usual, XFX went all-out on their booth design at Computex, complete with pool table and catchy slogan: “The family jewels: unlocked and overlocked"
They were showing off their latest products based on the NVIDIA 9800 GTX GPU.
abit
abit has been diversifying their product line recently and had some of their new digital photo frames/printers on display. They also had some high-end motherboards based on the new Intel P45 chipset, including the IP45-MAX, featuring their silent OTES (Outside Thermal Exhaust System) heatpipe system. And, it wouldn’t be an abit booth without some overclocking on display-this year they again had an overclocking demonstration using liquid nitrogen.
Biostar
Biostar has come a long way in a few years, and now makes a full line of enthusiast-level motherboards. Their high-end model is the TPower I45 series which they advertise as “Tunable Performance Out-of-the-Box” with interactive BIOS software and quality components such as all-solid capacitors.
MSI
MSI had some new notebooks and motherboards on display with the theme of "ECOlution", which is supposed to mean eco-friendly and environmental evolution. Their Wind Series notebooks feature an aluminum alloy case and are only 10.2” wide. Their high-end motherboards and VGAs continue the environmental theme with “GreenPower Design”, allowing power levels in the CPU, chipsets and memory to be adjusted based on load.
