FiringSquad's Game of E3

What about the games?

So bleh bleh, what’s with all this hardware stuff? Where’s all the games? Don’t worry yourselves to death about that. Firingsquad has got the games of E3 covered. In fact, through the efforts of Dennis and myself, we managed to get detailed notes and information straight from the developers themselves on over 40 games at the show! After going through all of what we gathered, we thought it would be an utter waste if we just gave quick 3 sentence treatments for each game. Instead, our plan is to give more in depth, detailed previews of all of these games over the coming days. The previews are going to come fast and furious - 2 or 3 per day over the next couple of weeks, so keep your eyes peeled! We will give you one game preview today - a game that we were so impressed with, it's our Game of the Show.

Soldier of Fortune - Game of the show

Firingsquad's Game of Show is Raven/Activision's Soldier of Fortune. SoF is a 3D first person shooter based on the Quake 2 engine, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the game because Raven completely overhauled it. You play a soldier for hire; a mercenary willing to go into combat situations that conventional military types won't touch.

Back! How does it work?     I want to be a Soldier of Fortune Next!
