E3 2005

Third time's a charm?

This is my third trip to the big show, and I have come prepared this time. In one hand, is a brand new Olympus Evolt E-300 Digital SLR, and in the other, a tripod. This is the first of two photo articles from the big show, and due to some technical difficulties, this article has been delayed until now.

This year's show was as crowded and as 'hot' as previous years. Electronic Arts still going strong with their fantastic booth displays, Blizzard is showing off a World of Warcraft Expansion, and did we mention Rockstar Games' parking-lot sized demo booths in the form of buses? Yes, buses.

New hardware on the floor this year were the Gameboy Micro, XBox 360 and Playstation 3. We play-tested games such as Soul Calibur III, Battlefield 2, NBA 2K6 (with no ESPN branding), We Love Katamari, Metal Slug 5 (PS2), Heroes of the Pacific, and many others. With that said, partake in this 179-image mega photo article taken from various parts of the event floor.
