Overview
In just a few short days, the center of the video and PC game world will be firmly set in Los Angeles. The 2006 edition of the Electronic Entertainment Expo is the single biggest event in this industry. Huge announcements are made, lots of games are shown (some for the first time) and massive parties are arrangements for people to be kicked out from if they try to get through without a ticket. This year’s E3 will likely be centered around the true introduction of Sony’s PlayStation 3 console and the first real reveal of Nintendo’s Wii (formerly Revolution) console. In addition Microsoft is expected to announce more games and services for the Xbox 360. PC game fans also will get some first info about a slew of upcoming titles as well.
Before the madness hits, FiringSquad decided to post up an article about just some of the games we are most interested in seeing at E3 this year. Keep in mind that this list is not complete by any means and that some product announcements are literally kept under wraps until the expo officially starts up on Wednesday. Throughout this article we will also post up a few responses from industry professionals about what games they will be showing at E3 and what games and products they are most looking forward to seeing at the show.
