A little while ago, we ran a contest with the help of our sponsor Foxconn called the Foxconn Graphic Design Contest. The premise was simple: design a poster or retail box for Foxconn motherboard or VGA products. We received some excellent entries, and now we are finally able to announce the winner. For the eye-catching and certainly original use of old material, first prize goes to:
Winner
Swatt
Score: 90%
Comments: Very creative and eye-catching design, whoever sees this on the retail display will pick it up to find out what exactly it is.
Runners Up
PS2Fish
Score: 88%
Comments: Very professional design in and out, basically covers all the elements needed for a "real" color box design. Would be a perfect design
guerrillax

Overall very professional layout, although it looks a bit generic.
Other Entries
G-Quay
Score: 75%
Cool theme character but may look like everyone else on the shelf.
GSG-9
Score: 75%
Very good graphics but lack of a theme sentence. It takes a while to figure out what exactly the whole picture is.
Sys
Score: 75%
The galaxy-like design is a nice touch, but lacks pizzazz.
Battousai-Ryu
Score: 73%
Very good graphics but lack of a theme sentence. It takes a while to figure out what exactly the whole picture is.
Deux
Score: 70%
Overall nice layout but lack of a specific theme. The green color theme looks a bit "spooky".
Pingpong
Score: 60%
Unfortunately, we're looking for posters and boxes, not logos.
Thanks to all the contestants who participated in the contest. Once again apologies for the delays in announcing the winners.
