8.7/10: | Had the melee combat been more refined, the engine used to its full capabilities and the niggles ironed out, then you'd be looking at perhaps the finest RPG of all time. --[Computer and Video Games] | 4/5: | Ignore the problems and frequent loading pauses, and you'll be rewarded with a long, highly replayable RPG with a fascinating setting and first-rate writing. --[Yahoo! Games] | 7/10: | Whoever wrote the music for Bloodlines deserves a solid pat on the back; the creepy music really adds to the ambiance of the game --[AceGamez] | 4/5: | Congratulations, Troika, on producing a Vampire game that doesn't… um… suck. --[Game Spy] | | Recommended | Although Bloodlines benefits from its use of cutting edge technology, the engrossing story brings it all together in an immersive experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to any RPG fan out there. --[UnderGroundOnline] | 94/100: | Masquerade – Bloodlines one of my most anticipated titles of the year. While there are a few nagging issues left in the game, this is completely mitigated by the fact that the game is a great deal of fun and incredibly engaging. --[Console Gold] | 7.7/10: | So if you can look past the clunky combat and other shortcomings, you'll find that there's a rich world to explore in Bloodlines... --[Game Spot] | 8.4/10: | Unfortunately, the AI has the intelligence of a doorknob sometimes, which keeps the shine off an otherwise delightful and multilayered experience. --[IGN] | 90/100: | Every time its time to turn it off I find myself always saying… I’ll stop after one more quest, which always winds up turning into 5, 6, 7… more quests. --[Next Level Gaming] | 9/10: | SITE AWARD - There may be a few graphical glitches, and the story is linear, regardless of the approach afforded by the different clans, but this is a solid addition to the Vampire series. --[Game Zone Online] | 9.3/10: | SITE AWARD - If you are looking for an action game, RPG game, or even a solid adventure game, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see just how well Bloodlines blends all three genres together in sinister and exquisite perfection. --[Game Chronicles] | 91/100: | Yes, Troika has delivered an action-RPG that's on par with the System Shock or Deus Ex while delving into a unique and compelling setting. --[Telefragged] |
