| FiringSquad Summary:
All told, IGI’s time has come and gone. Although the first game showed a lot of promise with its expansive maps, IGI 2 simply hasn’t advanced enough to be competitive with other stealth or action games. Part of the problem is the glitchy tech and part of the problem is the inconsistent and frustrating gameplay. But the biggest problem is that there are so many better games with more personality, better level design, better weapons, better spying, and better shooting. Sadly, Innerloop’s attempt at an action movie game might be best summed up as Project PSE: Play Something Else.

But as the hyperbole died, the War blossomed anew. Though the armies of the East and West were scaled down and the fighters returned to their homes, there were those who could not forget, those for whom the state of preace meant loss of profit and lack of influence. For themm the War would, and still does, continue... underground. ADVERTISEMENT
