| FiringSquad Summary:
Daikatana was done in quarters and it left us quartered. It is absolutely inferior in almost every conceivable way. It does not need to be buggy to live up to all the expectations of its detractors. In fact, at its worst, Daikatana made its most vehement opposition seem generous and kind when they were trashing its prospects of success. The first Episode is the textbook case of everything to never, EVER do when making a game. The annoying enemies like mechanical dragonflies and frogs are just the tip of the iceberg, the obviously part that everyone can complain about and relate to. The puzzles, the traps and tricks and the flow are just not there. It picks up later on, but honestly, people have to suffer through the first part to get to the later ones... it's not fair, and it won't be forgiven.
