The John Madden endorsed football (American football to you non-yankees) games from EA have always represented excellence and exquisite detail. True to form, Madden 2000 features motion captured animation with the help of two of the NFL's most promising young stars, running back Jamal Anderson of the Atlanta Falcons, and wide receiver Terrell Owens of the San Francisco 49ers. Madden 2000 also features the league's newest team, the Cleveland Browns.

One of the cool features in Madden 2000 are proportional player sizes - no longer are the offensive linemen the same size as the small cornerbacks. This isn't just aesthetic either - weight and height of players are factored into collisions so don't expect to stop a goal line dive by bruising fullback Mike Alstott with a defensive back like Deion Sanders. Also, player hot/cold streaks are implemented. If your man gets hot, he'll make big plays, but take out a cold player before he drops passes or fumbles the ball away! Finally, look forward to a revamped passing interface, as well as new juke moves and a better running game.

These are actually PSX shots, but EA neglected to include PC shots of Madden 2000, so these will have to suffice.
