Release Date: May, 1999

The Dream Comes True

Well, there's no movie out on this premise yet, but Fox Interactive and British developer Rebellion have delivered on a first person shooter for us - Aliens vs. Predator. Combining the two greatest sci-fi action movies of all time, Aliens and Predator, the game has received a huge amount of hype and anticipation over the last several months. And with good reason! The two films came out within a year of each other in the late eighties, and for over a decade, fans have clamored for Fox to bring to two together. 12 years after Predator and 3 bad sequels later (Predator 2, Alien3, and Alien Resurrection), we've got a first person game to play on the PC.

Three Unique Classes

The game has three separate campaigns for each of the three character classes, Alien, Space Marine, and Predator. The great thing about Aliens vs. Predator is the three very distinct character classes. Everything from the HUD to view modes to characteristics and playing style is different between each of the classes. In a way it's like three games in one. Those of you who like wasting time setting up configs will love this game; you'll have to set up and learn a config for each of the three characters.
