BioShock 2 PC Review

Andrew Ryan is dead. A psychologist named Sofia Lamb has taken over in his stead, leading the denizens of Rapture to seek solace in her spiritual teachings. All of the Little Sisters have grown up, but Lamb has repurposed them as weapons, exploiting their post-pubescent aggression and superhuman strength. Rumor has it that she’s also kidnapping young girls from the surface to turn into new Sisters, but why? It remains to be seen what Lamb is going to do with all the ADAM she is collecting, but a very special teenage girl has a plan for nipping this scheme in the bud…

In 2K Games’ Bioshock 2, you are thrust into the boots of a prototype Big Daddy, brought back to life in a vita-chamber eight years after the events of the first game. Explore the ruins of Rapture through a new pair of eyes as its society continues a rapid downward spiral. Virtually everything from the original has made a return, joined by several new items, enemies, and more:

- New spins on old plasmids
- New gene tonics
- New Big Daddies and splicers
- New weapons fit for a Daddy

But wait, there’s more! The PC version costs $10 less than its console counterparts and sports higher resolution graphics. Still not convinced? Well, you know what to do.
