Blair Witch 1 and Terminal Reality took us to a slightly suburbanized Burkitsville. We trounced through dark alleys and stepped past the roaring fifties all in search of a serial killer named Rustin Parr.
With the aid of Human Head in the second Blair Witch game in the series, we took on the role of an enigmatic soldier named Lazarus, searching through the woods for our memories, a little girl named Robin and a place called Coffin Rock.
The two previous games in the Blair Witch series have had some rough spots. Much like the films they are all based on, reviewers have berated them and lauded them, as have fans and the common man alike. Both the films, and the games of their namesake are a source of controversy. One thing remains constant, however, the Blair Witch has generated as much hysteria in recent days as Mad Cow Disease or War of the Worlds -at least, that's what the marketing people would have you believe.

One last time
After BW2, when James told me I would be doing BW3 as well, I was forced to suppress a groan. Though BW2 wasn't atrocious, I wasn't looking forward to the next in the series. Little did I know I was in for a pleasant surprise.
As in all things there is closure. Blair Witch 3: The Elly Kedward Tale concludes the tale on the PC, at least for now. Was it a bombshell or a milestone? Read on to discover the depths of supernatural depravity, the bounds of technical superiority, and the collapse of Rory's masculinity.
