The stats don't lie, the Deagle kicks ass! Only the AWM, the G3, and the Scout are more powerful for each round fired. The Deagle is also the only pistol that can penetrate various walls, vents, wooden doors and other permeable surfaces.
Considering its power, the Deagle maintains a fairly tight bullet-spread, but it is less accurate than most other pistols. The Deagle also has a restricted firing rate of five rounds per second. Either way, the trick to the Deagle is no trick at all. Aim for the head. Body shots are also very damaging, but you should be aware, however, that the seven round clip empties very quickly. So you should consider that before you run balls out without having anything nearby to hide behind when you need to reload.
If you're a Terrorist, we recommend buying the Deagle in the first round of the match. The Deagle is also an option for CTs, but Terrorists will benefit more since the Glock is such a horrible default weapon.
Snipers should also buy a Deagle as a secondary weapon. Pull it out when you need to walk around the map. Its power and relatively high rate of fire will save your life if you stumble into a close quarters fight.

The P228 is the second most powerful pistol in the game. We recommend using the gun as you would the USP. Although it comes out on top when you average the results, we recorded a wide range of damage results in our testing with armored chest shots specifically.
The bullet-spread screenshot demonstrates the gun's reasonable recoil, but its accuracy tends to flip out every once in a while with some shots landing outside the expected grouping. The P228 is not a bad gun, but there is nothing that warrants spending the $600.
