Life as a practioner of the black arts

I've gotten about 90 minutes of sleep in the past 36 hours. OK, part of that is due to me catching up on work after going on a short vacation last weekend (Yay I actually took Friday off), but Diablo 2 has to share some of the blame for my lack of sleep. While I spent entire DAYS away from the computer (*gasp*), James was "busy" leveling up his Paladin to level 18 and simultaneously taunting everyone on his ICQ list every time he loaded up the precious D2 beta. Ask Jakub - no doubt he'll have some choice words about it! At least James was nice enough to do the previous D2 update for me. One thing was clear. I had some serious work to do with my Necromancer if I wanted to catch James; I didn't even have the ability to conjure skeleton mages yet! Grr… Nothing a couple hours on Battle.net couldn't fix!

Call in your requests

Our first Diablo 2 report resulted in a deluge of requests for what we should cover in our Diablo updates. This particular update will deal mostly with general gameplay issues - the gems system, in game sounds, the mana system, pathfinding issues, etc. Those of you who asked for more specific info on classes, don't fret. I'm planning a full rundown of the Necromancer later this week, and we're also hard at work on a Barbarian update. We'll also sneak in info and pictures of the better special weapons we found.

Anything else you wanna see? Keep the requests coming.
