Diablo 2 Beta

In order to facilitate the distribution of the latest Diablo 2 Beta, our friends at Blizzard have asked Gamers.com and FiringSquad.com to put up an additional mirror to the file. This mirror will emphasize quality over quantity, in a sense. While we will not be able to host hundreds of simultaneous users, we're reasonably certain that those who do connect will have a fairly speedy experience.

The beta, which will only be playable over Battle.net, will include the Barbarian character class and portions of the game's first act. The purpose of the beta test is to ensure the stability of Battle.net servers worldwide.

Please remember that this 100MB file is for the selected beta testers of Diablo 2 ONLY. If you are not a chosen tester, please REFRAIN from downloading the installer. If you are not a selected tester, you will not be able to play because installation is locked with a special key code that was sent out to the chosen beta testers. You'll only be wasting your own time if you do not have an install code.
