Multiplayer
Drakan Multiplayer
We just received an exciting e-mail from Stuart Denman, Technical Director (and VP) of Surreal Software. He wanted to give us a little taste of what Drakan multiplayer is going to be like, and it really sounds exciting! Here's what he had to say:
Drakan has killer multiplayer/Internet play too. Deathmatch can include dragon as well as ground-based combat, and they can be combined. We had a 5-player deathmatch last might where there was one dragon. The dragon could only bite (does lots of damage), so he had to land to attack. One guy would get on the dragon, then others would try to knock him off. Lots of different types of swords and spells were around the level, plus bows and
arrows. I know I sound biased, but it was REALLY fun. And I've played Quake I & II a lot. It adds just enough new action gameplay to make this a multiplayer title to watch. I think (and hope) the Internet gaming community will really get into this game!

With DirectX 10.1 graphics, and over 50 real-world aircraft and terrain supplied by GeoEye, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. has the basic ingredients needed for a fun flight sim experience. But is it really a sim, or more of a flying shooter like you'd find in arcades? Tom attempts to sort it all out in this review!

Mirror's Edge PC Review
With its emphasis on parkour, Mirror's Edge plays differently than your traditional FPS. In fact to call it a shooter would be a misnomer as the game plays like no other FPS on the market. But is different necessarily better? Find out in our review of Mirror's Edge PC!

We're currently working on a petition to get Surreal to contract Sean Connery to voice the dragon. Anyone know what a Hollywood Superstar charges for that kind of work?
