Buildings, summary

Structures

There are a lot of cool different buildings as well, about 20 in all at this point. You've got a variety of defensive emplacements that can punish incoming attackers - gun towers, rocket towers, laser, flame and fusion armed ones, you name it. You'll also need to build utility buildings like mining emplacements, refineries, etc to improve your economy. Factories, tank bays, and air bases churn out vehicles, while shield generators can put a protective umbrella over your base for protection from most incoming weaponry. Don't forget radar emplacements to see the threats before they are within firing range.

Summing it up

Overall Fire and Darkness looks like it's a game with tons of potential. Check out our interview with David Rosenthal for even more info about F&D, and what they have in store for the future. The alpha build definitely looks like they're on the right track, and we're eager to see what the coming months hold for the development of the game.
