Limited slip release date

In our previous look at Gran Turismo 4, we were told that it would be coming this winter. While those hoping that it’d arrive in time to fit neatly under the Christmas tree were obviously delusional, it seems that those of us expecting it for the winter season are also a bit too optimistic. Our latest fact sheet now slates Gran Turismo 4 as a Summer 2004 release. Too bad… but to sooth the pain, we have some updated and/or high resolution images for your viewing pleasure.

Wallpaper worthy

Here are some images that you’ve seen before, but now at a resolution high enough to fill 1600 pixels across. (Be sure to click for the high-res version in our image viewer.)

Oh wow.

The famous breathtaking Grand Canyon shot. Obviously, GT4 will feature some gorgeous backdrops.

Where are the red and white ones?

Mini Cooper in Japan during dawn or dusk. The lighting looks very good… almost too good.

Is the Mak back?

Ahh, the lovely Peter Steven’s redesigned WRX front-end. Those bamboo stalks look good… almost too good.
