Barcode boy
I just want to get this out of the way now. There is no way you can disguise a bald guy with a barcode on the back of his head simply by putting on different clothing. Pretending it's Halloween doesn't work too well when you are the only tall bald white male with a barcode on the back of your head in China, South America, or for that matter on the planet earth. *Stepping off of soapbox now*

Intro
Ah, the life of a hitman. Just think, your waking up on any given day means one less person will never have a case of the Mondays ever again. We first got a glimpse of Hitman Codename 47 a few months ago, when the beta copy rolled into the office and halted all productivity. Everyone gathered around the computer watching, not a mouse was stirring. I've always been a fan of watching people play games. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing, but I derive just as much by watching others do their thing. And let me tell you, Hitman is a game that I could watch for hours on end. The looks, the play, the sound - everything about this game makes me want to just kick back in a poof chair and observe.

A company named IO Interactive designed this game with their own graphics engine, Glacier. Making Hitman is their first venture into the gaming world under this name. IO itself is a combination of two other companies from Denmark, a game developer (Reto-Moto) and another entertainment company (Nordisk Film & TV A/S). If Reto-Moto made a game, we sure haven't seen one. Regardless, whoever came over from Reto-Moto did some marvelous work on Hitman.

Story
You are a contract killer. Need I say more? Most of the missions have their own little plots, usually consisting of a little schpiel about the intended target -- normally a gang leader, Columbian drug runner, or something equally heinous, Eidos wouldn't dare publish a game that had you assassinating a frenzied mother of triplets on her way to the grocery store.
There is an underlying plot that ties it all together; but if I were to reveal it, the game would be ruined for everyone. So look at the barcode a while longer and wonder.
