Pros

Great Gameplay. Repetitive, single-minded and linear it may be, but it's fun. There's nothing like wading into a room of Headless and whipping out the Beast Claws!

Good Level Design. If there were to be AOL keywords for the level, they'd probably be "fun, challenging, cool, varied."

Cool Sounds. How many games do you know that have big-name bands and their songs? Huh? Besides, all the critters have key sounds and everything just fits in with the levels you're playing on.

Awesome Critters. They're unique, varied and single-minded. They hate other breeds almost as much as they hate you - it's fun watching them fight. Almost as much fun as it is dismembering a Headless.

Nice Graphics. Psycho Circus isn't as beautiful as Quake III or Unreal Tournament, but it's got a charm of its own. The graphics and sound blend beautifully to give you some great atmosphere.

Cons

Linear Gameplay. It's not so much that you're led along through the levels, but that you "start the game over" 4 times. Along with linear gameplay, of course, comes the standard lack of replay value. Once you're done with Psycho Circus, it's not likely you'll go back.

Mediocre Multiplayer. It's "ok", but seems like it was there just to have on the feature set. Then again, people would complain if there was no multiplayer.

Lack of Plot. The world really isn't explained that clearly within the game. Here you have a rich comic book universe, and you know nothing about it.
