Ballistics Report
Pros
Tech
The engine looks great and the new rag doll physics work gruesome wonders when it comes to making the gunfights more dynamics
Bullet time
This is still an enjoyable gimmick and Max Payne 2 does a good job of building gameplay around it
Lords & Ladies
Wherever there’s a TV, Remedy does some good Grand Theft Auto style parody

Cons
Writing
Although it’s no worse than your typical comic book, the storyline is full of some real groaners; thankfully, it’s not as aggressively bad as the last game (But come on Tom, that was the fun of the original Payne! -ed.)
Storyline
The romance is silly, the plot is convoluted and esoteric, and isn’t it a bit late to tell us that everything we knew about the first game was a lie?
Length
There’s no denying this is a short game. Unless you plan on playing through a couple of times, you’re not going to get your money’s worth.
