Ballistics Report
Pros
Good Gameplay. MCM2 is just fun no matter how you look at it. The high-flying, fast racing across treacherous terrain is just awesome.
Sweet Multiplayer. The game lends itself to hardcore racing so well it might as well be a NASCAR successor. The subtleties and tricks you need to win really show off skilled players, while the simplicity and fun of the game make it pleasant to learn while you lose.
Good Sounds. The sounds that are actually in the game are quite good - the audience cheers, the engines and the crashing are music to my ears. Of course, the omitted sounds are another matter.
Wide Open Maps. Somehow after all the Quake we've played, 'real world' terrain maps like the kind used for Baja racing never get old. It's fun to have some freedom and find spectacular new ways to crash.
Real-world Tracks. A boon to any true Motocross fan, the tracks are based on the ones you can find in Supercross and Nationals events.

Cons
Missing Sounds. It's disappointing to see the wide open areas that you ride in but never hear any nature sounds.
Track Editor. Where is it? The original had one and the official site says it's for download, but it's nowhere to be found. The rumors say its release is imminent
Logos. Yes, they're a pet peeve of mine but I don't know anybody who enjoys wasting 20 seconds staring at two vain companies' logos when they want to play the game. At least offer a way to space/escape/enter/click through them quickly.
