It's not BG 2!

Planescape is not the sequel to Baldur's Gate. The world of Planescape has a much harder edge to it and isn't exactly fairy tale material like your average role playing game. The themes and gameplay aspects are more hard-core fantasy. After all, removing your eyeballs with a scalpel and then replacing them with someone else's eyes is not kiddy cartoon material. Neither is beating your enemies with their own dismembered limbs. Planescape promises the same kind of immersive gameplay as Baldur's Gate with myriad side quests, tons of NPC interaction, but with a more mature edge to it, and a much more varied universe to explore. We're very much looking forward to seeing the finished product!
