Action or Adventure?
While it is a 3D game (and 3D games suggest lots of combat), the Prince of Persia series was mostly built on adventure, not combat. For that reason, Prince of Persia 3D will stay true to its roots and feature "70% adventure elements and 30% fighting." The adventure part means you'll be running, jumping, solving puzzles, climbing, swinging from ropes and bars, and much more! What I liked is that the designers made it so that it's impossible to walk off the edge of a cliff. If you move too close to the edge, the Prince will step back as if he was afraid to be near the edge. It is possible to fall to your death by being careless (jumping or running off the edge), but you can't do it by accident, which can be really annoying. Andrew explained that he wanted this game to test your skill, and not your patience.

What comes next?
Continuing on that line of thinking, Prince of Persia 3D won't be a game where you're sitting there wondering what to do. The in game cut scenes will make it obvious what you need to do to continue along your quest, provided you have a small amount of common sense. This is important because there are 15 huge levels in the game, and each will take anywhere from 2-4 hours to solve; you don't want to be spending any extra hours in the same environment trying to figure out what comes next.
