Time To Throw in the Towel?

While we certainly have our opinions about how a game should play, we're eager to see what the final release of the game yields. The beta was obviously under construction, with unfinished graphics and sounds in many areas. Because of the astounding realism of the graphics and gameplay, we're keeping an eye out for when Re-Volt goes gold. Hopefully, the game will be cleaned up, and well, won't be so darn hard (dammit, aren't we supposed to be hardcore gamers?)!

How come we're so excited about a racing game? Well, besides its obvious beauty and attention to detail, it's also a neat concept. When we first saw the game at COMDEX, we were hooked! Real-world environments on a grand scale, a physics engine to be reckoned with, and the thrill of playing with RC cars again! We started out excited about what the game was, and we remain excited about what it can be.
