Heavenly Retribution

There's certainly no shortage of first person shooters on the market. But Requiem adds a very interesting twist to the genre: you're an Angel. That's right. Wings, halo… rocket launcher.

Not only are you an angel, you're an angel in the future. In the 21st century, mankind is at a critical junction. The starship Leviathan is nearing completion in Earth orbit, ready for the first tentative human steps at interstellar exploration.

And of course, wherever there are Angels, there must be a God.

    And yet, the host of Heaven saw that the Lord was dissatisfied. This grand experiment housed not all He would have wished. The angels looked down, and saw that His experiment was fraught with greed, corruption, and stupidity. The "noble beast" with which the Lord had populated this planet was caught in a degrading spiral of covetousness; ever wanting that which their creator could not-indeed, could not-grace them.

    And so, the host of Heaven began to plot. This dissatisfaction that the angels sensed within the Lord split them into Factions. While some would look to the wisdom of the Lord for guidance and reassurance, others would presume to interpret his desires.
