Multiplayer and Interface
I foresee you dying
Multiplayer works under quite different rules than the single player game. You'll have a lot more hitpoints (1000 instead of 100) and even more mana to play with - 2000 points worth. Combat is fast-paced and hectic, though it's not mindless. Choosing the right Talent for the job is as important as choosing between rocket, rail, and shaft in Q3 Rocket Arena. It's also important to control an area - maybe several - where health and mana heals respawn.

There are 24 Talents included by default, and you can buy extra Talent packs to improve your offense. If this sounds suspiciously like Magic: The Gathering or any other card game, don't worry, it's not. You won't be sitting in front of your monitor, selecting the next card to deal. Your character on screen is much like the one you get in any other 3rd person action game. You move him around, fire your gun or Talents much like in Nox. Movement is accomplished by holding down the right mouse button and pointing the cursor in the direction you want to go. The further away the cursor is from your character, the faster he moves - up to a point.

Talents are selected like weapons in Quake, by keyboard shortcuts. You can click the icon if you choose, but that will only stop your movement, which isn't the brightest idea in the world with a fireball on your tail.
The game is played on traditional Quake-style servers, usually with 4-8 people per server. The internal browser is linked to won.net and does an adequate job of finding you an arena to play on.

Interface
As mentioned before, movement and combat are quite similar to Nox, with a primarily mouse-based interface. The keyboard shortcuts are easy to learn and intuitive, though the camera controls feel a bit lacking. They give zoom in and zoom out functions as well as rotation, but it would be nice to have a way to manually adjust the view angle. All the keys are rebindable, and you even have a console to play with.
The front-end is simple and functional. When logging onto a server, you setup what Talents you want to use in which Talent group. There are 8 Talent groups with up to 10 Talents in each. The Talents themselves are divided by "Totems", which are simply related groups of Talents.
