Graphics and Conclusion
Graphics
The new LithTech engine is quite impressive, with detailed models, interesting structures and a smooth camera. Sanity, in particular, has a strong comic-book style with excellent texturing and lighting. The entire game has a slightly wacky flavor to it, in keeping with the comic book feel. Special effects are absolutely gorgeous, from fireballs and lasers up to area-effect Death Totem abilities. Take note that all shots were taken with a Voodoo5 and 4X FSAA on. There's just no going back to aliased graphics once you've seen the light.

Final words
Sanity is certainly an interesting game and different enough to be worth the download. Right now the demo is hosted on
real.com (registration required), with no mirrors going up for a week. If you're looking for something different to do, the demo is a good place to start. It's a fresh and cool idea, worth the 61MB download especially on a broadband connection.
