If you're familiar with Zelda 64's "Z-targeting," you'll be right at home with the "strafe targeting" found in this game, as the two are virtually identical. As a matter of fact, the gameplay in general is virtually identical to Zelda 64. You run, roll, crouch, jump, use your weapon, hang onto ledges, and use items out of your inventory.

The gameplay is easy to pick up, as the training is built into the game. Get a gun, and the next place you go provides an easy practice field for its use, while still fitting into the ever-expanding storyline. More importantly, the gameplay is fun. You get your chance to blow hell out of zombies, but once they're gone, (unless you quit and re-load your game), they stay gone, leaving you free to work on the puzzle at hand.
