Ballistics Report

Pros

Graphics
There's no doubt about it, Wolves of the Pacific is a visually stunning game.

Gameplay
There are only two things that surpass the thrill of sinking an enemy merchantman: that's sinking an enemy capital ship and then evading escorts while limping along the bottom of the sea floor hoping your hull and pumps can be repaired before you run out of oxygen.

Sound
The ability to hear your enemy is as important as seeing him in a submarine sim, and few things are as cool as being able to jump to the sonar station and track a ship just by sound, or hear the explosion of a torpedo which breaks his back.

Introduction
Milton! The introduction to game has an excellent recital of “On Time” by John Milton. It's one of the most stunning, bold, and enjoyable game introductions ever.

Cons

Interface
Other than the targeting interface, it's not bad, just an unnecessary step back from Silent Hunter III.

Bugs
The 1.2 patch significantly improved matters, but there still exist visual and crash bugs.
