Ballistics Report

Pros

Graphics
Simply put, the game is beautiful.

Gameplay
Deep, intricate, complex and yet completely intuitive to players. The tutorial is long and somewhat tedious, but it teaches the basics flawlessly. Your mother could play this game.

Design
A semi-open style of play with random encounters (usually you decide whether or not to get involved) and pre-designed missions that run the player through a decent plot arc.

Gameplay again
Challenging but not frustrating, realistic without being tedious. Rewards smart play and anticipation. Almost perfect.

Cons

Performance
The game does run a touch slow with all the goodies turned on. Fortunately, it’s turn-based so this isn’t a big deal.

Super-weapons
A terrible idea that breaks the suspension of disbelief, and on top of that, the super-weapons are poorly implemented because they are so overpowered.
