Spider-Man 3 Game Interview (con't)

FiringSquad: What sort of missions will players get to deal with in Spider-Man 3?

Anna Bunyik: The player is given a very non-linear experience – story threads go deep and weave together with other storylines. Spider-Man 3 will provide exactly the sort of missions you would expect to find in a Super Hero action game. Rescuing people (not balloons), fighting bad guys, getting the girl. This game, more than any other in the series, allows you to truly feel what it’s like to be Spider-Man.

FiringSquad: What enemies from the movie will appear in the game and will there be additional foes from the comic books in the new game?

Anna Bunyik: You will get to face-off against all of the movie villains as well as some of your favorites from the comic books. The variety of villains in Spider-Man 3 will not disappoint.

FiringSquad: What other important features will be included in Spider-Man 3?

Anna Bunyik: I think the key features are the new combat system, playable Black-Suited Spider-Man, and the huge number of distinct missions we’ve created to fill the city with gameplay.

FiringSquad: This is the first Spider-Man game for the PS3 and Xbox 360 console. How does the improvements in hardware affect the graphical look and visual style of the game?

Anna Bunyik: The new consoles really allowed us to make the game look amazing. We were able to recreate much of the reference we received from the movie, making it the most true-to-life Spider-Man game yet. Where the power really gets used, though, is in the gameplay. More memory and more speed allowed us to design some incredibly complex and compelling missions.

FiringSquad: Finally is there anything else you wish to say about Spider-Man 3?

Anna Bunyik: This project has been an amazing experience. I’d like to thank the entire team who made this game as awesome as it is. And a special thanks to our fans who inspire us to make each game better than the one before it.
