Space Circus Fever

The Year: 31XX

No, the earth isn't being threatened by aliens. No, the universe does not need saving. No, I won't stop beginning articles with "The Year: XXXX."

This time, you're a brave young . . . circus juggler. Your circus is 3 million astro-dollars in debt, due to decreased popularity, and the bank has given you ten days to pay up - or they'll blow you up. Being a punk, your boss has decided to send you to stop the evil Baron Von Ravel. Von Ravel is the owner of Virtual Circus, the rival driving your circus out of business.

Space Juggler

What's the story?

Starshot is a 3D game in the vein of Mario 64 - you run around a cute virtual world, cutely jumping around and fighting cute baddies. (Those of you with acute cute-a-phobia are advised not to play this game without some form of anti-nausea medication) You can jump, jump higher, jump even higher, and, if you collect rocket fuel, fly, using your cute little rocket buddy. Your main (ok, only) offensive maneuver is to shoot stars that you've collected (since, of course, you were destined to become an elite killing machine, but they didn't fully wipe your conscience circuits, so you were sold to the circus to juggle stars).

To combat Virtua Circus, your boss has decided to use the clever scheme of getting some really good circus acts to increase attendance. Of course, this means you'll be sent out to scour the galaxy (well, 7 planets, anyhow) in search of circus acts, all the while fighting the evil hordes of Virtua Circus robots. The fate of the circus is in your hands!

 Random Fact
Before doing FiringSquad, Kenn worked for the circus as a pit-fighting clown. His perfect record at departure was marred by the fact that he refused the defend his title.
