Four Different Themes

Different looks

Theme Park World further distinguishes itself from the competition by adding four distinct styles, or "themes" that your park can be based on. The two styles you see in the screenshots reflect two themes: Lost World and Halloween world. The Lost World is characterized by a jungle atmosphere with structures inspired by the Aztec and Inca civilizations. It's also marked with the inclusion of cute looking dinosaurs. Look for rivers, lakes, and volcanoes to further immerse the player in a primitive theme. Halloween world takes a much different approach, with its cues taken from traditional Halloween themes. You'll see ghosts, haunted houses, jack-o-lanterns, witches, skulls, graveyards, etc. Of course they aren't hard core, like Nocturne. Halloween world treats this subject matter in a fun, cartoony way like everything else in Theme Park World.

Spacezone and Wonderland

There was less information available on the other two themes, which are Spacezone and Wonderland. Spacezone will presumably feature more colorful stuff with a futuristic or alien spin. The brief description given in the press kit and the style of the game overall would lead us to believe it would be something like Disneyland's Tomorrowland and Space Mountain. Rounding out the themes will be "Wonderland" which will be characterized by everyday items that are super large. Think about that movie, "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" or the "Alice in Wonderland" fairy tale (without all the narcotic overtones) and you probably have the right idea.

 Random Fact
Knott's Berry Farm in Southern California completely redecorates the park in October, transforming it into Knott's "Scary" Farm - basically a gigantic haunted house to run through. Actors dressed up like killers and zombies walk around the park to scare the ladies and the children. Some even carry de-chained chainsaws! (sounds like a chainsaw but w/o the chain) It rocks!
