One of the more interesting surprises was Konami's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game coming for all console platforms and the PC. Fittingly, cell-shading is used to create the cartoony-looking graphics, which matches the animated TV show better than the original comic series.

Ah, foot soldiers
They're baaaaack!
TMNT will be composed primarily of combat. While we were delighted to hear that a co-op mode is a part of the game, we were disappointed that it would be limited to only 2-players. This doesn't make any sense, as everyone knows the team of TMNT is only complete when all four are together. Why? Because Master Splinter told us so.
What's a conbo?
Bash! Bash! Thok!
I hope these aren't civilians
Anticipation factor: Some of us here grew up watching the cartoons or reading the comics (I actually still have my original set of comic books somewhere), so chalk it up as being a nostalgia thing. October 2003.

The Sun is in Your Hand
Boktai (short for ボクらの太陽, meaning “Our Sun") is Kojima Hideo's Game Boy Advance game. It's the only game of its kind right now that has a light-sensor built on the cartridge to detect only sunlight and affect gameplay directly. Our only question is how Konami will factor in the differences between the angles of exposure to light from an original GBA with its top loading slot and the newer GBA SP with its bottom loader. We'll find out first hand this September.
