Ballistics Report

Pros

Graphics
Although they're not as good as Half-Life 2 or Doom 3's, Vampire does stand above the rest. It adopts a more cartoony rather than photo-realistic style, but it works.

Sound
The game features excellent voice acting, interesting music and generally good sound effects.

Plot
One of the better-told stories ever told by a first-person shooter, and the ending ties it all together, though it's not what you'd expect.

Gameplay variety
When the designers choose, they can create some interesting missions and quests.

Cons

Poor design choices
Either someone decided that the game was strapped for content, or simply thought it lacked a pointless combat maze or two. We're not amused.

Performance
You'd think a game that's less visually impressive than Half-Life 2, but shares the same engine, would run better.

Bugs
Though not nearly as bad as Arcanum or Temple of Elemental Evil, there are a fair amount of bugs in Bloodlines, and the movement physics (especially over movable items) are really skewed.

Autosave
The auto-saves aren't as generous and timely as with most games.
