Ballistics Report
Pros
Lots of history:Warlords Battlecry II is the sixth in a long line of popular strategy games. SSI has kept the franchise strong over the years.
Excellent AI:Battlecry II has some of the best unit AI in any RTS to date. Pathing, fighting, and the attitude function are all top notch.
Twelve races: Twelve unique races and dozens of unit types keeps Battlecry II interesting after lots of play time.
Well balanced:Even with eight races and four resource types, Battlecry II is well balanced, with no single unit or race dominating the game.
Lots of gameplay:You can play the single player campaign over and over since your army is always based on your hero, which can span the gamet of unit types.

Cons
No story: The single player campaign has no story at all, so don’t expect to get sucked into the Warlords world.
No character: While technically great, Battlecry II lacks personality. The races and units don’t distinguish themselves besides the outward appearances and play mechanics.
Lack of detail:When playing at a reasonable resolution, the units and building lack detail – everything’s too small to make out any features.
Not enough animations:Each unit only has a few animations. There’s not a whole lot of eye candy while you’re playing.
May be repetitive:The campaign mode is the same thing every time: invade a land and destroy all the inhabitants. The hero attributes and army abilities may spice things up enough to keep some gamers entertained.
