Offense

Offense

Besides those defensive abilities, there are of course, heal ter'angreal, and an extensive array of offensive spells like Fireball, chain lightning, decay, and the uber-powerful balefire. We haven't even gone over a dozen of the possible spells and there are in fact FORTY in the Wheel of Time. We'll have to wait and see what other surprises Legend has in store.

Strategic elements

Spell combinations and counters won't be the only strategic element, particularly in the single player game. Each major character controls a home citadel. If you leave the citadel to seek out more cuendillar seals (the keys to winning the game), your home base and all its contents are left open to attack. To defend it you'll use the citadel editor to create walls, barriers, traps, and set your troops for a maximum defensive state. Setting traps in non - obvious places and stationing your soldiers at crucial points will be central to the strategic objective of protecting the seals you've already obtained.

 Random Thought
The citadel editor sounds a lot like combining elements of Dungeon Keeper into a first person shooter. We'll see how it turns out.
