The Stealth V3
TennMax Stealth series
TennMax is one of the better known names when it comes to video card cooling, because they offer many different solutions, some of which are specific not only to certain chipsets, but actually to certain cards. Obviously, you'll want to get the cooler that is specific to your card, although they do also sell a more general heatsink and fan combination that will work with other chipsets.
Stealth V3 Figher
Of course, TennMax's Stealth cooler legacy didn't end with the Voodoo2. They have a rather new design made for the Voodoo3 boards! It was much easier to make a cooler for the Voodoo3, because now that STB and 3dfx have merged, STB is solely manufacturing the Voodoo3 card, which means that the single manufacturer making the card is following the reference design. Thus, there's no need to worry about different card layouts and such.
The Stealth V3 is smaller than the Stealth V2, because of the integration of the Voodoo3 chipset into a single chip, as opposed to the 2 TMU's and 1 FBI that the Voodoo2 had, all of which needed cooling. Thus, the Stealth V3 is a smaller cooler, although efficient. One of its advantages is that it uses plastic pushpins to attach to the Voodoo3 card. Installation is fast and simple, although you do have to take off the stock heatsink that comes with the Voodoo3. The Stealth V3 costs $23.50 U.S.
