The Stealth V2
Stealth V2 Cooler
This cooler is TennMax's cooling solution for cards based on 3dfx's Voodoo2 3D accelerators which follow the reference board layout. The specific cards which follow the reference layout are Creative Lab's 3D Blaster V2, Diamond Multimedia Monster 3D II, Jazz Renegade 3D, Orchid Righteous 3D II, Magic 3D2, Guillemot MaxiGamer, Wicked 3D, and Ambush 3D. If your card is not listed here then you should double check with your board manufacturer to determine if the card follows the reference specs for the Voodoo2. Note that the Obsidian and STB BlackMagic3D cards are different than the reference design. TennMax does not have any hard specs (fan speed or CFM, thermal resistance) listed on their site but we are working to find out from them.
The Stealth V2 cooler is a rather large, but thin cooler. It is designed so the three chips that produce heat are all under its heatsink. The heatsink then draws the heat towards the center of the cooler, where a single fan channels air in to remove the heat. Another good trait about this card is that it is only 11 mm thick, so it can fit between boards in such a way that it will not hit the next PCI card. The Stealth V2 connects using a pass-through standard 4-pin connector, just like the hard drive or CD-Rom's power connector. It costs $24 U.S.

The Canopus Pure 3D II is a popular card, but not based on reference design. Because of this, there is a custom designed Stealth V2 for it. Additionally, there is a custom designed Stealth V2 for the also-popular STB Black Magic 3D card. (The STB Black Magic 3D happens to be the same design as the newly renamed Voodoo2 1000.) Both of these "custom" designed Stealth V2's cost $27 U.S.
