TV Tuning
The TV functionality of the All-in-Wonder 128 32MB is one of the most impressive features ATI has brought to the table. Although it's still an analog tuner, the image quality produced by the All-in-Wonder 128's TV tuner is very impressive and produces an excellent picture that allow the user to switch between interlaced, "bob" de-interlacing, and single field display.
In addition, the standard contrast, brightness, tint, and color saturation is included, as well as a cold/warm setting.

Thanks to the Rage Theater technology, the video quality was markedly better than ATI's already famous All-in-Wonder quality. Though perhaps more important to government regulators than FiringSquad's readers, the All-in-Wonder 128 32MB also has full V-Chip support which means that the card can recognize the content rating of the current show. With this feature, parents can block content on a show-by-show basis and choose to block shows with a TV-MA rating rather than blocking the entire channel itself. For the rest of us, it's just a neat feature to show-off.
Audio Quality
Audio quality is also superb thanks to the dbx Stereo Tuner. dbx is a noise reduction technology that has been available to the consumer since at least the early 80s. Originally introduced in Cassette Tape Decks, dbx offered better noise reduction than the Dolby B and Dolby C technologies popular today.
Somewhere along the line, car stereos stopped using dbx (I don't know why) and today, dbx is limited to most high quality modern TVs. SAP audio is also supported.
