CPUmark 99 tests the speed of the CPU, the L1 and L2 cache, and system RAM. We see the Coppermine step up to the Athlon in the Winbench CPUMark99 test with the aid of 256Kb of full speed L2 cache, but scores remain flat in the FPUmark scores.
