Ballistics Report

Pros:

Ergonomics
This wheel fit my hands better than any other that I've tested over the years. Racing with it is truly a pleasure, and never a painful experience, even after hours and hours of gaming.

Price
At under $100 for a full-featured force feedback driving wheel, it's hard to argue with the strong value that Logitech is offering with the Formula Force GP. In addition, it comes bundled with a copy of Sports Car GT.

Pedals
Despite their tendency to slide across the floor, the pedal base is truly well designed and is one of the better units that I've come across in my years of testing. The pedal movement and tension are very realistic and add much to the wheel's performance.

Cons:

Construction
Unfortunately, it seems that one too many sacrifices was made with the Formula Force GP, since it comes off with a very cheap look and feel. Furthermore, its plastic construction contributes to its aggravating habit of vibrating too much

Gearshift Buttons
I'm not sure how the original Formula Force's F1-style gearshift levers got changed into plastic buttons, because it definitely causes a step down in realism on the Formula Force GP. We only hope that Logitech will remedy this situation in their next refresh.

Back! What does that mean in-game?     Final Verdict Next!
