At 512x384, FSAA is free with both video cards! In fact, you can even run FSAA 4X for free with the Voodoo5 if your heart desires. Even at 640x480 the penalty isn't too great considering the visual quality improvement.
It's interesting to see the Voodoo5 get outperformed here. In the third part of our FSAA comparison, the Voodoo5 outperformed the GeForce 2 when both cards were running with FSAA. It definitely looks like 3dfx needs to work on their Socket A performance based on these numbers.
