The GeForce 2 Ultra

Notes

As you can see, the main difference between the cards are the core and memory speeds. The old GeForce 2 GTS has a 200MHz core clock and 333MHz DDR memory. For the Ultra, NVIDIA has managed to increase the GF2 core clock speed to 250MHz thanks to an advanced 0.18 micron TSMC process.

Memory speeds have also increased to an astounding 460MHz. We were unable to determine the exact speed of the memory because of the attached heatsinks, but we were told that the memory was qualified at 500MHz so that probably means 4ns speed.

The rest of the Ultra's features are exactly the same as those found on the GeForce 2 chip. Additional features (S-Video output, flat-panel support, etc…) will be determined by third party manufacturers.
