F.E.A.R. Performance
F.E.A.R. – Direct3D

Notes
Performance continues to scale well with the Core 2 CPU and GeForce 8800 cards. Sure, at 1280x1024 the GeForce 8800 GTX/Core 2 Duo E4300 system is ever so slightly CPU-bound (we only saw a 10% drop going from 1280x1024 to 1600x1200), but it isn’t anywhere near as bad as we’ve seen in the past where increasing screen resolution yielded no performance hit. Even Intel’s least expensive Core 2 CPU, the E4300, does an admirable job of keeping up with the GeForce 8800 GTX considering its sub-$180 price point.
