3DMark 2001
3DMark 2001 - DirectX 8.0
Analysis
It should come as no surprise to anyone that the GeForce boards with pixel and vertex shaders come out on top in 3DMark 2001, with the Ti 200 representing the best value among them. After all, it offers 90% of the performance of the GeForce3 Ti 500 on both the 700MHz and 1GHz Pentium III; and a respectable 20% of the performance of GeForce4 at 700MHz, and 24% at 1GHz.
The GeForce4 MX is still a good value card, but if given the option 3DMark 2001 clearly demonstrates that the Ti200 is arguably the better value -- at least with AA disabled.
