Kryotech's Cool K6-III 550

We're all fans of overclocking, and in most situations, even advocates. I put a lot of what I know about overclocking down on virtual paper in the FiringSquad Overclocking Guide. That being said, I try to stay on top of things that pertain to the overclocking community.

Imagine our surprise, then, when we got a big box in the office (that I had to move) which weighed in around 65 pounds. I mean, this thing was heavy! Around here, though, heavy boxes are good. That means hardware of some sort for us to play with, and not games that would probably go to CalBear. Sorry Bob. Kenn seemed to know what it was, and I proceeded to open it up. I found a beautiful (heavy) thing sitting in there- the newest iteration of Kryotech's super-cooled systems. The Kryotech Cool K6-III 550 is not something you get to play with everyday, and I was definitely awed by the prospects of this monster.

But wait! There's no such thing as a K6-III 550, is there? The reason why such a chip even exists has to do with Kryotech's mission and technology. Their goal is to "Become an industry leader in thermal management of electronic systems". What does this mean? To explain this, we have to first take a look at what the technology that they have developed is.
