Guillemot's Maxi Gamer Xentor 32

Guillemot has been around the graphics industry for a while, and has a plethora of different graphics cards based on different chipsets to prove it. Their products range anywhere cards based on the Voodoo2 chipset, to the Voodoo Banshee, TNT, and the Riva VANTA. Unsurprisingly, the next step was obviously going to be the TNT2 chipset, which they've hit with a vengeance. Their Maxi Gamer Xentor line covers the TNT2 chipsets, with the designation Maxi Xentor "32" being the TNT2 Ultra-based product.

The need for speed

Guillemot has taken the position of putting their cards out at a guaranteed clock speed that is faster than the default TNT2 Ultra specification from nVidia. The value here is obvious- why go with anybody else when you can pay the same price and get a higher clock speed? Well, like Hercules, Guillemot has decided to ship their boards at the core clock speed of 175Mz, a good ~16.7% over the factory specification of 150.
