The Plantronics Audio 90 is a good but not perfect solution. Though there are cheaper items out there, none of them are as comfortable and sturdy as this. On the other hand, Plantronics could really do itself a favor by improving sound quality and charging a little extra for it. The Plantronics GameCom Pro 1, which costs about double the Audio 90 (or the very similar GameCom 1), is moving into mid-range headphone territory.
On the plus side, this is one of the tougher headphone/headsets I've owned and it is very affordable and ergonomic. Only the hardest of EverQuest addicts game more than I do, so both points are big issues and Plantronics scores excellently in that regard.
